Herculined:

Bestop Seat Covers: (they look much better now than this pic, this was taken right after I took them out of the shoe box they were stuffed in. See the other pic above for a more accurate representation of them.

Bestop TrailMax II back seat:

Winter Carpet kit (which also looks better now that I've spent more time fitting it):

Alpine head unit, Hella 500 switch mount, and Husky liners:

Thanks, she had a lot more money into her build up than I do atm. MY jeep is being built from the left overs from the jeep I had before that was totalled.

Then you can talk to the rest of us with newer weaker radios!
Uncle Charly don't want you talking too far, at least when you get back here anyways.

Thats funny, the Uncle Sam part.

I can still talk to you guys when I get back, at least the first 23 channels. I have two of those radios and they both have sideband. I can mount the other one in another rig and get some real distance.

Ya, sideband is the only way to go. I had a sideband nearly identical to yours about 1976 and it would talk.

Here are a couple of knobs I made at the shop. One of the many advantages of being a machinist. I utilized the original shift pattern plates for simplicity.

I plan on anodizing them red to match the paint. Maybe a little cheezy, maybe not. I don't really care if anyone else likes it though. I'm the one driving it.
