If you have a Jeep rescue story, post it up! I don't mean where you pulled out a stuck off-roader from a mud pit. But stories of you helping another person that ran off the road, or helping police/fire dept./medics help someone else ect ect ect.
So myself and my buddies were camping in Anza Borrego State Park in Southern California when we decided to check out a trail just north of Borrego Springs. The trail was nice and fairly smooth until we got to the first of 3 water crossings. Since we were there in only my jeep, and due to the drop of the 1st crossing, we did not want to risk getting stuck.
As we were standing there enjoying the view, out comes some guy who stuck his jeep in the 3rd water crossing and needed help getting out. So we grapped my hi-lift and tow strap and we started the walk up up the trail. Turns out his jeep was stuck in the mud/water up to his doors about 50 feet in. Luckily, someone else showed up with a 2nd tow strap so we had something long enough to reach him from a rock on dry land.
This guys had a stock jeep, with street tires, no lift, and was by himself. And yet he tried to go into knee deep water alone! it was pretty damn funny
