Powdercoat or paint??

Just ordered some JCR Bumpers!! Question is should I have them powder coated $150 for both. Or just paint them with rattle cans? (paint or bed liner)

Any thoughts or opinions?????

Powder coat will obviously be tougher. and last a lot longer.

If you rattle can you will save a little money and if done right will look really good. Best part is rattle can touch ups are easy, just depends on what you want to do.

I am doing the same thing. I recently purchased a raw bumper. The bottom line depends on how you use your Jeep. For a daily driver powder coating may make more sense versus a rock crawler where it's bound to get scraped up. In the later case touching up with a rattle can will be more seamless than with powder coating.

Hope that helps in your decision process.

I coated my raw bumpers with POR 15 then sprayed rustoleum bed liner in a rattle can on top. Gave it a slight texture and has held up to a lot of abuse.

Maybe POR 15 then something like Monstaliner or some other thick bedliner. My SmittyBilt rear bumper has some sort of rubberized substance on it and it's tough as shit. I had to grind some down to weld in some clevis mounts and it was like trying to grind a car tire.
