Question PROBABLY a stupid question....

Ok this may seem dumb to most, and im probably gonna catch hell for it, but i Need to know if anyone has any good ways to CLEAN the deck cover and bikini just came out of the body shop, and got rubbing compund, and stuff on it,,,,ive tried hosing it off, scrubbing with soap, anyone have any sure fire ways to get sh*t off that material???

Wow, that sucks. Did you try using a stiff bristled brush to scrub? You might try some Goo-Gone on it.

Careful power washing. Keep it moving and don't let it get to close to the canvas

There are several convertible/soft top cleaners out there, including one made by Bestop.

Any mild detergent or soap will be OK (Dawn dish soap).

Soft scrub brush will probably be essential.

I do not think you will find any miracle spray-on/rinse-off solution. Harsh chemicals will cause problems. Elbow grease.

So far I have had success with Ragtop cleaner and protectant. I also purchased Bestop cleaner and protectant for the top and cleaner/protectant for the windows. I plan on trying the Bestop when the Ragtop is gone.

There is one thing I'm curious about and maybe someone can help. Why does Bestop have a separate cleaner/protectant for the windows and others have one for both?
