Problem with 2000 Wrangler, not sure what to do

Hello. I have a 2000 Wrangler Sport 4.0 liter, 6 cylinder straight head.

I have replaced the water pump but I am still losing water, filling the radiator up every few days with no signs of leakage. I feel that the head or head gasket has gone bad but I have been also told that the motor might have a spun bearing or bad oil seal of some sort because the oil pressure goes from 40psi while running to 15psi when I stop. Some people tell me this is normal. Should I replace the head gasket and hope for the best? I have been told also to replace the motor.

Any help?

Thanks!

Email me back at Puddles87@aol.com if you have any suggestions/ideas.

OK, some questions:

Miles on the engine? Does it consume oil? Compression test on the cylinders revealed what? When you pressure test the radiator, does anything come out anywhere?

Who told you to replace the engine and why?

Your oil pressure is low at idle, in my opinion. What kind of oil are you running?
