Pros & Cons of...

differential covers with a fill plug and a drain plug. i really like the arb diff cover because it has a drain plug. it seems like it would make changing the fluid so much quicker. i know that 100% of the fluid doesn't drain out which would be a "con." i figure i can do a quick change after i play in the mud and water and then do a "cover off" change once (or so) a year. what do you all think?

Sounds good to me.. I would think when you put the new fluid in just let some of it run out and take most of the old with it....then cap it.

I would think it would be opposite. Cover off change after a swim to make sure ALL the moisture gets out and a plug drain change at regular intervals or just flush it with fluid when changing it.

EDIT: You beat me to it 4Jeepn.

u could probably make ur own by getting a spare drain plug and drilling a hole/ threading it in the diff cover

with something as important as a diff, i wouldn't want to mess with it. plus i would really like to upgrade the stock d44 cover to something stronger. one with a drain plug would just be a plus.
