Using the title loosely of course, but its not really a secret.

Yeah, lots of info out about the Renegades. Just a prototype model. With no badging I initially assumed it was a Nissan or Honda or something

Its a Fiat, it really has no business carrying the renegade name.

Chrysler had a Renegade Trailhawk at this year's Jeep Safari. Scoff all you want, but it was a pretty impressive vehicle...especially for its price range. I think it will be a great addition to the jeep line-up and could care less what they choose to call it. My girlfriend has owned the Fiat 500 and now the larger 500L. They seem to be well-built, reliable vehicles that are a blast to drive. I can't say that about too many of Detroit's products.

It has every right to carry the Jeep name, just as the Compass and Patriot did before it, they were nothing more than re-skinned Dodges after all. Jeep needs to sell a bunch of these and I hope they're a success. Having a high(er) mileage vehicle in the line-up is what will allow them to continue to build Wranglers for us and still meet their CAFE requirements.
