qtec, why separate boxes?

Every time I've ordered from quadratec, each part is separated into different boxes/shipments.
Makes no sense to me? Has to be more expensive for them when they foot the bill for free shipping. If everything is in stock and ordered on the same order, just don't understand why they wouldn't toss everything in one box.....weird.

usually because they're coming from different locations. they have warehouses all over and sometimes, ship directly from the vendors they deal with to you.

Sometimes it has to do with weight also. They might be able to flat rate ship several light packages cheaper than one heavy one.

I ordered wheels from them and each was shipped as an individual package for this reason, same with tires. And as stated above I've had packages from different origins from Qtec.
