Question about TJ Door Surrounds

I have taken off the hard top on my 98 TJ. I want to buy a soft top and frame for the summer. I have noticed door surrounds on Ebay and other places and want to know if these are a must have without the hard top and my full doors on? Are soft tops cut to accomodate the door surrounds? What is a good price to pay for a pair of door surrounds?

you do not have to have door surrounds to take the top off. There will just be a gap between your door and rollbar. The original supertop is made to work without them. The supertop nx however comes with them and is a much better setup

Good to Know

Lots to think about, really don't want to spend the money for new. I will only use it 3 or 4 months out of the year and the hardtop the rest of the time.
