Question on my Bumper

As you can see in the picture, my bumper has these vertical tubes on it. I bought the Jeep recently and it had this bumper on it. I was wondering if there is a use for these or if they are just cosmetic. Also, does anyone know where to get the metal cap that goes on them? The second from left one is gone.

First thing that comes to mind when I see that is a flag pole holder. Not sure if that's the intended use. Doesn't seem like those would serve any additional purpose.

Thanks. Don't think it's that though, b/c those metal caps aren't supposed to come off. Thanks for input though.

They're for fishing poles, IMO.

Or potentially stick a smoke grenade down each one and pop them while going down the interstate. That would be cool.

I see em all the time in FL. You being inland tho there is no telling. You may try fence post caps, they may be the right size. If its PVC then off to Home Depot.
