Quit fighting!

Which model jeep is the be-all/end-all jeep? Which model is truly superior? We will never know! Cj owners will vote Cj, YJ's will vote YJ, TJ's for TJ, and JK owners will vote JK, pssh what a joke that is! (Just kidding jk owners) i believe that we all need to just agree that we all drive the most superior line of vehicle on the road, no matter what model. That being said i think we should all talk about what each different jeep model has going for them, but to keep things interesting, dont post anything about a model you currently own, but instead post on a model you dont have. I want to hear everyone thoughts and opinions on which model they believe is just truly awesome. Again, however, you must defend a model other than the one you currently own.

Well, since the only models I no longer own now are the CJ and TJ (traded them 1 year ago this month), I will give props to my CJ...and my wife cried when we traded it for her JK. She was totally happy to get rid of the TJ and so was I. I traded my 1972 CJ5 304 equipped rig and her 1997 TJ base model for a 2008 JK, which has been ok, so far. I couldn't pass up what they were giving me for trade in on the JK. They had buyers for both my trades in hours...

The cj had the original V8, which, in my opinion, should be an option today...but anyway, it was narrow track to fit any trail, and short wheel based like an ATV to break over any obstacle.

The TJ was ok, but not all hyped-up as I thought it was to be. It was fun to play with and it was my wife's for on-road only. I do miss the smaller rear seat and folding forward passenger seat, as the JK sucks in both of those departments.[IMG][/IMG]

These are gone, but still have 3 YJs and a JK...

I drove my med school housemate's 304 V8 CJ and it was truly a wild beast- scared me off of Jeep ownership for 20 years!

I love my TJ but I also love how the YJs look. And willy. And JKs. I'm just proud to own a jeep!

Will take anything CJ and earlier in a heart beat they are awesome vehicals with great nostalgia of the old days that i was never around for. JK's are nice for the creature comforts that my wife complains about that i don't have and before i had my YJ it was my icon vehical i've always wanted.

I give props to the CJ and YJ. I love the CJ because of its soul, and its actual material. They feel solid when off road (at least to me). The YJ is the one I always wanted to own (along side my JKU). It was a perfect build up vehicle, and I have a lot of history with them (my jeep love started with YJs). My overall main jeep is the YJ.

I'm more particular to a built FSJ(Cherokee Chief) Cj's & Wranglers are a dime a dozen in my opinion.I hardly ever see any FSJ's anymore, at least around here in Fl.

I liked my JK, and I like my YJ, but if I had to choose, it would be the JK simply because it didn't require this much maintenance right after I bought it, haha.

Since I have 2 kids and like the extra storage, plus longer wheel base, jku for me.

If it wasn't going to be my dd, I'd choose the LJ.
