Rampage frameless top leaks.

Has anyone had a problem with their rampage top leaking? First rainstorm with the new top and it leaked all over my driver seat. There is a seam that runs across from the driver door to the passenger door which is the culprit of the leak. I folded it back a little to look at the stitching and can see daylight through about a 6" area.
Just wondering if this is a common trend with rampage. Everyone seems to like them so far.

Just noticed the two rear corners leak as well. Either I'am just unfortunate to have a "dud" or these tops are junk. I'm going to have to just get the trek top. Should have done that to begin with.

Im runnin the same top. I am on the road all over Central FL rain or shine. Ive never had a drop of water leak thru mine. Mine is almost a year old and even in Florida thunderstorms Ive had no problem.

I have not called rampage but I have called 4wd.com and setup an exchange with them. I just have to decide whether I want to replace it with another rampage, or just come up with the extra $$ for the trek top.

I understand maybe ONE leak that was overlooked during manufacture, but 3?? That just seems like poor quality control from another "made in china" product.
Longevity is what I'm most concerned about. My Bestop that I have right now is about 7 years old without a single leak.

Yea I had the same leak in the same spot. Mine dripped directly onto my head as I was driving lol. I masked off the top right next to either side of that seam with some duct tape and hit it with some plastidip. i did a strip less than a centimeter wide the whole length of that seam and no more leak! Hope that helps.

This doesn't sound very encouraging.

Hey Shadydc, I received your emails and have sent several back to you. I haven't gotten them back as undeliverable, did any of them go through? I sent you a PM as well as called the one number that was listed in the emails you've sent.

Please give me a call. 951.277.4949 Thanks.

Well I have exchanged 1 or 2 emails with Jake but it seems that he is somewhat busy lately. I'm not sure what he had planned as far as "making sure this gets handled".
I have a return already setup with 4wd, but I was curious to see where this whole thing was going with Jake and Rampage. From what I see its not going anywhere anytime soon. The top will be going back to 4wd this week and I'll probably splurge the extra cash on the Bestop Trektop.

i think that be your best bet, im prob doing the same. got my new top on and and had a rainy weekend and ive got more water inside my jeep than i had with my old top that had holes. its pouring in somewhere above driver side dash area. im going to look into it more today. dash, steering wheel, driver seat and floor were soaked. bout time to to saving lil cash and just get something worth having.

After Dealing with problems with my trail top I wished I had gone the Trektop route.
I have been seeing a lot of post about rampage lately and there not good.

Dropped it off at UPS this afternoon and called 4wd back and set up the exchange for the trektop. I'm pretty excited about the sunroof opening too. Hope this exchange happens pretty quick.

Oh man, I just sent rampage a message through their website and after reading this thread my future doesn't look all that promising! I have the same six inches of sunlight(or rain) as KBR97... Got home from deployment, put this bad boy on my tj unlimited and loved it for a week until it rained!

Goodluck guys. I went through 4wd for the return and I ended up replacing it with the Trektop NX.

In an email from Rampage I was told I would probably be better off going through 4wd because rampage is out of stock.
