Rear axle breather tube dripping oil

I recently installed the G2 D35 diff cover on my rear axle. It is susposed to hold an extra 1/2 quart of gear oil over stock. The fill plug on the G2 sits higher than the stock location to allow for more oil. Now I have oil dripping from the vent tube after a drive. Am I going to have to go back to the stock cover to avoid blowing out my axle seals, or will the vent tube be enough to relieve pressure? Also, will I need to keep a closer look at the fluid level if the cover is designed to hold more gear oil?

Here is the cover I purchased. The fit is great and quality appears to be there. http://www.g2axle.com/differential-c...al-covers.aspx

I would doubt that you need to do anything, except put a drain pan underneath the jeep when you park at home !1

My '08 JKU Rubi leaked for the first 6 months, out of the FRONT breather tube and it is just "OVER" fill diff oil, that expands under-- use HEAT--

I suppose you could check your diff. drain plug and DRAW several OZ, just to slow it down !!

Good luck
