Rear Facing Backseat?

Anyone know if it's possible to flip the backseat on a TJ so that it faces backwards? I dont need it to be street legal so much, just for use tailgating etc... There a mod kit for this? Other thoughts or ideas?

Cheers,

John

You'd either need a kit, or be willing to drill and tap your own holes. For the seats themselves, it would only be a matter of flipping the brackets around. The seatbelts on the other hand is a different story.

I think it depends on the year. I have in my '04 Unlimited, but you can't drive like that because you need to tip the front seats forward.

Hey I think you could do this just by switching around the brackets on the floor. the brackets are not offset any so just by unbolting them and switching them Rear in front and front in the rear) I think it would work. I just looked but I didn't try so i could be wrong. Someone go give it a try and let us know
