rear output seal help

What's up? I have a 1990 wrangler with a 4.2L engine and it a 5 speed. My transfer case rear out put seal is leaking. I can't seem to get it out. I have the drive shaft out of the transfer case. But the seal doesn't want to come out. How do I get it out? Pleases help!!!

It can be really hard, i use a small flat screwdriver, if it has a lip on the outside, take the screwdriver and a hammer and gently knock it away from the transfer. be very careful. the housing is aluminum. dont know how to explain it better without pics.

I could use that pic! I am about to replace my seal as well.

I hope Hedi Klum doesn't get mad.

Ok that was stupid.

But for real I could use that pic lol!!!!
