rear shock boot- wtf ???

Okay, alright, I'm no mechanic but I bought a 2 inch rough country suspension lift kit with shocks. It showed the boots in the picture but of course they weren't included. I ordered 5 boots to go with the kit and the steering dampener

I'll talk about removing the dampener later but..................two days into this lift adventure and now I've got it down, NOT! I did the fronts on the first day with instructions that said to remove the shocks after you take out the springs....so you know where my head is .Now I'm doing the rears and it's going swimmingly until I get the to the shock part and try to install the boot on the rear shock............................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .....................................ARE YOU KIDDING ME !?!??!!

The things I'll do just to add two inches !

Well you could be at work. I have had control arm bolts bust on me, water come dumping down from bump stop mounts, spider infestations, and one time the dog knock my beer over.. all my working on lift kits... so I feel your pain.. just make the best you can of it.

Just kidding, you've obviously had a worse day than me. Sit down, take your shoes off, have a beer on me.

Ha, I grew up in KC been out here for about 9 years. And no there aren't any Cardinal birds here in AZ. Just the team.

There were some smart as hell people that engineered the TJ, but I would honestly have to punch the guy in the balls that designed the upper rear shock mounts.
