Red Top or Yellow Top

Time to replace my battery. So, is it gonna be a yellow top or a red top? Or will it be something else?? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I have the red top, wish now I'd gotten the yellow top.
Course when I bought the red top I did not have my winch on the YJ.

X2 I have a red top (actually my buddies wife is holding on to it for me for now) but will be doing the duel red/yellow combo with a alternator upgrade.

fox.. what's this about your buddie's wife that we keep hearing about? You want to buy her filty, dirty shirts.. and she's holding onto your goods. That kind of lifesytle can get you in trouble

I've run both Yellow and Reds and haven't had a problem with either. If you have a winch or a bunch of lights I'd suggest a Yellow though.

Not sure your Acura really has a need to run a 175 dollar battery. Don't be sad. That's a good thing. More money to spend on the heep.

ya my buddy and I got challenged by my girlfriend (read as EX) and his girlfriend (read as wife) to go pick out something for each of them and try to make the other jelous kinda funny gave it a money limit and everything. anywho...we did this for a year durring X mas, I still carry the tradition on just cause its fun and I need to get her a gift anyway so might as well make it a jeep gift, cause they own a 03 wrangler and are always puttin time into that.

The thing about this battery is that when I wrecked my dodge I had my red top in there and didn't feel like giving it to the wrecking company so they could sell it to the highest bidder. so I swapped my redtop for her shitty car battery and walla! she's holding it for me till I can get down there and trade her once again.

as far as her and I go, it might have happened a long time ago if the timing was right before they started dating, but I would never ever do anything like that to my buddy now days.

Today I bought an Exide Orbital Deep Cycle battery from Napa. It was $180 after showing them my AAA card (that brought it down from $210).

Has pretty good specs comparable to the optima yellow top. Has a good warranty too
