Replacement glass for mirros?

We picked up a 2000 model Sahara the other day. I hate the mirrors on it. Its like they are made of plastic. VERY distorted image. Are they all like this? Does anyone make better mirror glass for them?

I've never seen replacement glass but that's a brilliant idea. Mine are all scratched up but the mirror body is good, I bet it wouldn't take much to get a couple pieces cut at a glass shop to repair em.

x2. I think I paid 13 bucks for a replacement mirror on my chevy. I just take the stupid mirrors off on the jeeps.

They sell ones that have stickem on the back, break the old mirror out of the frame and stick the new one in. I think they are like $7 or so per side. Any good auto parts store should have them, notice I said 'good' parts store. I just forget who makes them, not something I buy all the time.

I actually ordered mine from National Auto parts, it's a chain here in PA at least, 6 stores that I know of around here.
As for NAPA, nope, never use them, they are never open early enough and close with the banks at 5 well before I get anywhere near home so they are not even in my thought processes when I need something on a weekend, they close as 11 on sat.
