Replacing carpet with Rhinoliner??

Has anyone whose done this have any advice? I got sick of the dog hair that I could not get out of the carpet/velcro. Even if I could it would just get right back on it next time he went with us somewhere which is nearly every weekend. I don't want the liners that come in sections and they only seem to make the one-piece liners for the older Jeeps, mine is a 2004.

Just wondering if anyone has done something like the Rhinoliner and if they liked it or hated it.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum, there are tons of threads about this...

In short, yes, do it, you will not regret it. I just had mine lined with Raptor liner a few weeks ago, it's wonderful!

I did mine with Herculiner. It was cheaper than having someone do it for me and only took about half a day, and loved the change from the carpet.

Raptor is DIY too, I traded services with a buddy, since he has a compressor to spray it with.. and he'd done it before...

If your really up for a challenge, pull the tub and do the underside too. Granted I live in the desert, but no rusty floor-boards!

Question: Anyone lined the jeep and then used the carpet on top? I like the carpet, and mine's mainly a DD. But, it'd be nice to pull the carpet when I do go play and have liner there for clean up later.

I haven't put my carpet back in yet, probably will soon tho', just to get it out of the garage... No reason you shouldn't be able to do it. And It should help with a rattle or two...

Good morning all...

Thanks for the feedback. I think I will be giving it a try soon. I have many things I want to do to it. So far I've only added bigger tires and body-mounted mirrors. Eventually adding a little height. Right now I'm going for functionality and looks. From what I hear on here, once I get started I won't be able to stop
