Replacing the "JEEP" stamp on your tub

I have rust on the front and rear of the drivers side rocker on my 93. The front rust hole comes very close the the JEEP stamp. I would hate to remove it. are there patch panels that have it? Or should I just be careful and work around it?

Remove and replace. They sell those stickers online. Even cool US Flag ones too.

He's not talking about the sticker. He's talking about how the tub is stamped. I have a buddy who's going to have this same problem soon. He's starting a rebuild on his CJ now.

Ahh... I understand. I'd think it could be worked around. A picture might help so one of our Auto Body experts could offer some advice.

I might be able to work around it. It looks like the rust in really close in person.

I have the sample problem. Except the rust on mine is worse. The "P" is already gone I was told there is a company that sells panels and for a extra fee they can stamp it as well. Maybe you can buy just the stamp from them if you don't plan on replacing the panel. Someone on here probably knows the company.

Is it bad on both sides?

I bought a NOS AMC panel for my CJ and it has the "JEEP" stamp in it but it is for the passenger side of my Jeep which is not as bad. I am going to try to transplant the passenger side onto the drivers side....Well see how that goes.

Well thats good. I am hunting someone that has a tub that is bad but the "jeep" is good. If I find one I'll let you know. I had one located but he traded it before I got to get the "jeep" cut out. That might be my only chance!

I didn't, I just got the jeep in a trade. Now its time to fix what others let go. This thing is pretty ugly too. It was white but now its flat black. I have some work ahead of me.
