Mothers Back to Black worked like a champ on my bike.

The Jeep is a manly device. And a womanly device. An American device. It’s a fitting instrument to transport the free people of a free nation with the respect to which we are entitled and the dignity that we deserve - PJ O'Rourke

I used rustoleum all purpose flat black spray paint. Worked rather well.

The best thing I have used is Forever Black. Works just like the picture and lasts.
Bumper & Trim Cleaner & Reconditioner by Forever Black

Sorry I don't have better pictures, but the first picture is the "before" and the second one is the "after". I had them done for over a year and they still looked great. I did need several coats though.
