Rigging up a hydraulic winch

Good Morning Jeepers! I have access to a hydraulic winch but I dont have any fittings to hook it up to my TJ. Does or has anyone installed a winch and manufactured the lines themselves? Is there fittings that are sold seperately to rig up to the power steering pump? Any insight would be very much appreciated.

I know that Tractor Supply Company will make hydraulic lines for you while you wait. They can do any length and a number of different fittings. Don't know if that helps you or not, but at least it's a start. Does Japan have TSCs?

I don't know if the power steering pump would have the umph needed to drive a winch. I somehow doubt it.
As for the lines. We have a place called House of Hose here in Spokane where I get all my specialty lines made up. Look for something similar in your area or I believe you can order from them if you have the specs on what exactly you need.

Depending on the winch you should be able to use you stock pump, however if you feel you stock pump is not in the best shape look at getting a new one. Also, my experience with this type of winch is that they are slow vs their electric counter parts. Will pull a mountain all day though.

The Power Steering pump is rated at 1500PSI and that is what is required of the winch. MileMarker Hydraulic winches are driven by the power steering pump so I know it will work, I just dont have the lines or the fittings. I know I can make them but I also need to setup a circuit breaker electrically and that part is what I am not sure about.

Cavedvr, I think they call it Tractor Suppry Company over here
