Rip in soft top... help

Got a small tear in my soft top It's right above the driver and was wondering if there was a better fix than the duck tape I'm using now...

Have a boat cover shop put a patch on it.

Jaioh,

As Lando said, your best bet is a boat canvas shop. They should be able to make a patch and have it sewn in in a matter of minutes. I have had my boat canvas fixed like this a number of times. It always comes out nice, and doesn't leak.

Hope this helps! If you've got any questions feel free to PM me.

Go to WalMart and buy an iron on denim patch the same color as your top or as close to it as possible. MIght use a bit of super glue around the edges so it doesnt peel up when the wind hits it when driving. Worked fine for me when my top ripped above the door surrounds and lasted a year. Then I got a replacement top.
