Rock Rails vs Side Steps

Does anyone have any preferences as far as Rock Rails or Side Steps? I kinda like the standard Mopar side steps but Fab Four has rock rails that work as a step as well (almost $1200). I really like the look of the Fab Fours but probably don't need that much protection. They also would require drilling several holes into the body.

Depends on what you plan on doing with your jeep. If you don't take it off-road, the Mopar side steps are just fine. If you want to off-road, then I would suggest the rock rails. Have you looked at the ACE Engineering sliders? Rock Sliders
