What kind of rocker guards are you looking at getting? I would think that mounting would be a bigger factor than the flares, so, that being said, you would probabily be better off going with the YJ ones.

according to this write up shrock works makes 2 different rocker guards for yj's. one with a cut for tj flares and one for yj flares. i don't know if shrock works makes a good or bad product, but its the first thing that came up in a Google search.

another option you may have is to get the full length ones and remove a little material from the back side of the flare to fit over the guards. the flares are a soft material and you can probably use grinder, dremel tool or drill with a grinder disk to shape the flare around the guards.

Quote:
YJ Sliders are offered for stock flares and a cut down version for people installing TJ flares. The stock flare version is NOT cut around the small extension on the front flare. The flare sits on top of the slider and bolts though it to the stock hole. The tube is left a little short on the stock version. That way if you ever do TJ or other aftermarket flares, the tube will not be in the way. The top thumbnail with the blue sliders are the std YJ sliders used w/ TJ flares that were installed later.
i assume by "stock flare version" they mean YJ flared YJ.
