Rockin the seat cushion?

Wanted to see who here uses some sort of seat cushion or gel pad.

I've got lower back pains from weightlifting and it hurts the majority of the time that I'm driving. Pressing in the clutch can be painful on bad days, and I know that if I buff up my seat and give some cushion and maybe lower lumbar things will get better.

So anybody found something for extra comfort?

I sit on a thin pillow to give me a boost.... Does that help? I'm quite a bit shorter than my husband, and we both drive both Jeeps, so seat risers aren't an option for me, I like being tall enough to see the end of the hood. I made a matching cover for my pillow to go with my seatcovers...

Not sure if they make them for your model, but have you considered getting the heater kit for your seats. I also have lower back pain and use my seat heater on low when my back is hurting. I got the heated seats for when it gets really cold in the winter but realized their theraputic value on a trip to Florida.

Doesn't sound bad, I use a heating pad at home alot when I'm sitting around. I live in Florida though, and with the top down I'm already sweating, so a heating pad might just make life unbearable.

I've noticed it feels a little better if I scoot over on the left side of my seat where it sort of ramps upwards and rest my left cheek there. I think a quality cushion would really be the key.

Ya, if your in Florida, heated seats would be a waste of money. You could check out your local CVS or Wallgreens for some type of cushion that would work for you. Where at in Florida?

I'm vertically challenged at 5-04, very limited adjustments on the drivers seat. I've been looking for an actual seat cover with built in padding and lumbar... Let me know if you locate anything.

Won't help with the lumbar, but seat risers would be perfect for you otherwise...

Do a search for "lumbar support" on amazon. There are dozens of styles to choose from.

As far as heaters, you can get a heater that you put either under s seat cover, or inside your seat for about $100. Google "carbon fiber seat heater" to find them.

Wet okole offers both lumbar and heaters as an option to their seatcovers, but they aren't cheap!
