Roll Up back window?

During the course of my life, I've owned a 1985 CJ7, 1994 Rio Grande and 1998 Sport SE...I am happy to say that I am back in the Jeep family with a 2008 Sahara. I have a question - does that back window no longer roll up and snap? Also, my back window barely zips together because its so tight - I've never had this problem before...I was thinking that the tightness of the back window could be due to the top not being put on correctly? I don't know...any advice or insight would be great - especially about the back window rolling up....thanks

Congrats on the new Jeep! Yes the rear windows still roll up. The straps for it are probably in the glove box, or console. Unless the PO ditched them not knowing what they are for. The back windows on JK's do seem tighter than previous incarnations.

Dealer, or Quadratec, Morris 4x4.... lots of places. Do keep in mind that rolling up the window and securing it with the straps will cause abrasion marks on it. Lots of folks just unzip it the other way and lay it down in the back if you really feel the need to keep it with you. Or roll it up and store it in a window roll, like a cloverleaf bag or similar. Personally, I just leave them at home when the weather is nice enough to have them out...

Maybe never or hardly ever opened? Lube zipper? What is the temp when you are trying to open it? Obviously it will be much easier when warm.

Yep, zipper lube helps more than you'd think.... I just went ahead and dropped the $10 at the dealer for the Mopar lube, rather than drive all over town trying to locate some cheaper....
