I recently got me a TJ. It's stock and in good shape. I want to put a 4" lift with some 33" tires on 15" wheels. What else needs to be done with this type of mod? Will I need a re-gear? Do i need to replace any axles?

I'm new to mechanics and jeeps in general and trying to grasp what exactly I need to do and what needs to be done and what it's going to cost. Of course I'm guess ing at least 2500 bucks. Anyone know of a good places that can do all this work for me in southern California for decent rates?

Thanks. :blackeye

Before deciding on how much lift/how big to go with tires. Ask yourself why you want them. Is your tj your dd? What kind of budget are you working with? Are you willing to dig into your jeep with your own to hands or will you pay a shop? How much wheeling have you done in a stock jeep?
