I was wondering if anyone could help with a question... I am considering pre-ordering a 2012 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon.
Love the Jeep, don't like the tires or rims much. I'll probably upgrade the tires to Toyo's, MT's or Goodyear's in a larger size. The rims - KMC XD's.
I have two options. Take the existing wheels from the Rubicon and try to sell them on Craigslist or whatever, or get a dealer credit and move on.
Now, I really don't want to screw around with trying to sell the stock wheels, taking calls for the rims only, tires only, guy who needs one wheel, not five...or the guy who's a little shy on the cash. Ugh.
Any thoughts on what would be realistic to expect from the dealer in terms of a tire/rim credit for all five Rubicon wheels?
To make things a little easier, and to try to eliminate all the dealer money, shift from one car to another funny business, lets just assume it's a straight deal for the Rubicon at invoice, no trade.
Any thoughts on a realistic five wheel credit?
