Seat bracket removal

I'm looking at taking my seats out so I can work on my flooring. Does anyone know if the screws from the bracket that bolt to floorboard have nuts underneath or can I just unscrew them. I've looked underneath and don't see bc there may be a plate over where the screw in.

they do have nuts underneath. my were rusted solid. i tried removing them without properly soaking them in penetrating oil.. i snapped two bolts off (it was on of the first things i did after getting my jeep).

needless to say the brackets are now welded on. worked out pretty well. i now have anchors to strap cargo to since i never keep my rear seat in.

moral of the story: soak them bolts

Yes it is under the Jeep called nutserts. Nuts that are attached underneath. Should be noticeable by the pattern. Soak them with PB Blaster for a few days and see what happens sometimes you just get lucky.

No they stay in place when the bolts are removed. It would be real bad to lose your nuts!!!
