"Seat Towels" worth $30 ?

anybody run one of these ?
T2G100B - Jeep® Logo Towel 2 Go Seat Cover - Quadratec

thinking $30 is a lot for a towel.
thinking about picking up something cool at the shore this weekend and having the local upholstry shop put 2 stainless grommets in the corners.

You can buy a grommet kit in Home Depot or Lowes for under $10 - they're simple to use. That's what I wound up doing, because I couldn't justify paying $60 for 2 towels (much as I love how they look). I found a couple beach towels with a pattern I liked, added grommets in 2 corners each, and use a carbinger to hook them behind my head rests. I only use mine when I'm grungy & don't want to mess up my seats (or when I'm parked with my top off & I want to keep my seats cooler and/or free of bird crap). They're not as cool looking as the jeep towels, but they get the job done.

Mine are brass. I don't remember if they had stainless steel available or not (and I don't know that I would've believed it if the package said stainless - I've discovered that HD & Lowes use the "stainless steel' label a bit too loosely.) For my purposes, brass was fine - I just didn't want them to rust. But if you're set on stainless, an upholstery shop might be your safest bet. (A marine store might have stainless, but you'll pay top dollar for it there.)

I was just concerned that the brass might turn green.

I'm pretty sure the brass will turn green eventually, but I kind of like the antique look. (And my towels were so inexpensive, it won't be a big deal if I want to toss them at some point & get a new pattern & new grommets).

Whichever way you go, I'm sure it'll be cheaper than the $30 Jeep towels (although I have to admit, those Jeep towels do look nice! A bit too nice - another reason I took the cheap route is that I was afraid someone would steal the Jeep ones off my seats if I had my top/doors off.)
