I have senior pictures in a couple weeks. I would like to have my Jeep in there somehow but I don't want it to be cheesy. Any ideas? Examples would be great!

I phased out the portrait aspect of my business quite a few years ago, but when I used to do Senior Portraits, I did quite a few with cars...don't remember any Jeeps, which is surprising since I'm in Moab. You don't necessarily need the entire vehicle in the photo. I used to pose guys leaning casually against the vehicle, or with one hand on a hood/fender and the other casually in a pocket, one foot slightly in front of the other, weight on the back leg...which puts a nice tilt on your shoulders. Your photographer should have ideas. Talk to him/her ahead of time about possible locations, poses, and clothing. With a Jeep, sitting on the hood with your feet on the bumper might work. Your photographer will tell you how to pose your hands, arms, legs, head., etc., so it does not look posed or cheesy. Just relax and enjoy it. I remember shooting one senior with a classic Camaro...only needed part of the front of the vehicle and the hood stripe to know what it was. The signature Jeep grill (or just part of it) might be the only part of the vehicle you need in the photo. If you try to include the entire vehicle, it detracts from the main subject...you. The vehicle should be a background, not the focal point of the image. Hope this helps a bit....sorry I don't have any readily accessible examples. Google "Senior Portraits with vehicles"...you should get some good examples.

Thanks for your input! I like the idea of not putting the full jeep in there. Pics are tomorrow and I have a (don't make fun of me) Pinterest posed of ideas.
