Shift Kits, Good or Bad?

Thinking about getting one installed. However I want to know the pros and cons about them.

I feel that I don't shift my transfer case enough to justify a shift kit. If it is properly adjusted, it should work just fine.

Unless you have a body lift, the the new mount for the level would be fine.

A shift kit is great for the old muscle cars (back pin high school days I had a couple), but in a Jeep? Really? 2 thumbs down... But to each there own.
