Angry Shifting 4wd to 2wd ouch!

While shifting from 4wd low to 2wd, the shifter became disconnected from the linkage. The 2wd to 4wd shifter was in neutral when it came loose. I can't do anything. How do I remove the shifter knobs and center console to reconnect the linkage. What most likely broke???????

The link more thank likely popped out of the bracket by the Tcase. Climb under the Jeep and it will be on the right side of the t case. There is a small mount on the tub that the link will slip into. You might can just pop it back it or of it is really hard you can remove the 4 bolts that hold the mount to the tub and then slide the link back in.

If you need to get the t case back into 2 wheel drive you can shift the tcase with you hand if you need to. It's a pretty easy fix.
