shock question

I am not mechanically inclined at all, so if this question sounds dumb that is why. I recently had a used Rough Country 2.5" lift put on my '04 TJ and have 16" rims with 32x10 tires. One of the front shocks that came in the kit is shot so I have to get replacements. My questions are...are there different size shocks? Are gas shocks what I'm looking for? What shocks are good?

Yes they are different sizes. You need ones for your year Jeep with a 2.5" lift. Gas shocks are the best. I would suggest Bilstein or OME.
