Shovel mount on hood

Hey guys. I just got a tj about a month ago and after receiving all these gift cards to quadratec....I can se how this can be addicting. All the accessories are cool but I want a creative way to mounth a mini shovel. I was at a light yesterday and I saw that this guy mount a shovel to the rubber windshield bumpers on the hood. Do they sell something like this. He sped off before I cold take a pic but how can I do this. Anyone have similar pics? I know there re alot of ways to mount a shovel but I really like how it looks on the hood. Reply with idea I can go about doing this or purchasing the brackets...

Thanks in advance!

I'm not up to speed on all the Jeep specific ideas.

An Army entrenching tool is a very cheap and stowable way to have a shovel.

I've carried one in my other 4x4 for years, and the Jeep will be getting one too. I use an old Korean War vintage USGI model, and I paid like ~$6 for it.

You might be able to mod a HiLift jack hood mount

My old Jeep had a shovel mounted on clamps through the rear tire mount. I don't recall where the clamps came from but they had a bolt on back and a pipe that came out with a grab handle and these ratchet strap looking things. The previous owner said he put his hi-life on it but I mounted a shovel and gas can from it.
