Show me your STICKERS

Hey,

I'm new to JEEP and stickers seem like the easiest way to start personalizing them. But, it's hard to visualize what they may look like, or determine the right sized ones that look best and where [before I order them]. So, I'm trying to get some good ideas for sticker placements and such on my new JKUS.

I see there are plenty of SHOW ME YOUR JEEP threads, but I'd like to start this more specific thread so we can see what you got, where you put 'em...and maybe even where you got 'em!! Maybe we can even drum up some dialog on sizes and such if someone sees what they like...

THANKS!!

-Ben

I took all my badges/stickers off and then put these on either side of my hood.

I got them from pixeldecals.com

Bought these from ThinkGeek.com

I'm a bit of a geek. And a huge fan of the Firefly series. ThinkGeek.com had these and I snatched two, one of each side. The decal itself says "Engineered By Firefly Coach Works, LTD. Osiris No 03-K64-FF"

My daughter (7yrs old) is huge into dinosaurs and Jurassic Parků so we de-badged, blacked out anything shiny and went with these in place of the "Wrangler Sport Unlimited"

decals are from Pixeldecals.com

Here is a clue to what we are doing.. The typical "X" & "Wrangler" are currently silver but we are going to switch that.. By making them black.. Then (shift/off set) another set of silver decals on top of the black one.. thus appearing 3 dimensional or shadowed. Making sure they are shifted moving from the rocker panel up towards the hood both sides.. Just the two colors.. as always will post images when time warrants.

On the hood sides (stands for 2011 JK built September 2010):

Also have a WWII star on the rear passenger quarter and a JK sticker on the rear (removing JK sticker soon though. gonna try something different):

And here is a link to a HUGE thread over at JK-F devoted to stickers.

How did you black out everything? New parts? Plasti dip?

Not on the fabric itself.. but on the plastic windows.. and If the decals can be placed on the inside of the windows.. all the better.

Thou after a few years if you decide to remove them.. which isn't that hard.. you may have a goopy mess and just use goo-b-gone (again depending on the type of decal)

I replaced my X with a TJ style JEEP and I think I want to put a TJ style SPORT under WRANGLER.
Then there is the Mountain decal on the hood.
I am trying to come up with something to put above the JEEP decal.

I'd love to have a couple black and white or grayscale American flags for my front quarters. Any ideas where I can get those?
