Fires yes but I don't think brakes. Only a few JK's burned. It was not a surprising number. It wasn't much more than 10

Oh and my moms 2007 Honda accord has numerous problems too.
No kidding. Had a newer accord with about 20k miles and it started using a qt of oil every 1k miles. Honda said that was not excessive. Really?

Kinda a blessing in disguise as that led me to getting a Jeep.

Was told that the 3.8 is actually a gm 3800 that was converted to 3.8 liters. Im just totally dumbfounded by someone not knowing a liter is 1000cc.

Isocyanate 2 pack paint in the common shade of blue looks weird imo. Looks plasticy. Dont know why. Needs some metallic or a darker shade of blue.

Every time i buy a convertible people ask why i didnt get a hard top. Especially funny since my 96 sebring wasnt available that way. Why do these people want to tell me what to buy?

At a stop light and the jeep is completely naked and a stranger who finished crossing the street comes up to me and asked with a confused face "you took the doors off on purpose?" "Yeah, it's a jeep thing"

I married above my pay grade. My brother in law was horrified when I sold my MB SL65 and bought that thing (2013 JKU Moab) when asked why, I said "perspective". Got a fist bump from my wife.

I actually never paid attention until my wife started pointed out people who were staring.

I never really pay attention, but my wife says that to me all the time... "WHY does everybody look at your Jeep? It's just a Jeep! It's not like it's a Corvette or something."

Well, I tell her, they are jealous and wish THEY were riding in it.

I had a guy in a Grand Sport Vette ask what my 0-60 time was I politely replied "Won't matter when your under me". He hit his paddle shifters and was gone, all I could smell was dignity lost....

While at a fireworks display a couple nights ago I was complaining about how it was gonna be a hassle to get out (tonnnns of traffic and I parked over and embankment) and a friends boyfriend kept asking if it was 4 wheel drive lol. I just kept snickering and letting him boast about how he would pull me out if I needed it (he was in a cobalt)

Idk it realy depends what jeep ur in because I can do a burnout in my 2012 wrangler with a 6.5 inch lift and 35 with 3.73 gears but it all depends on the conditions also I can do it in my 98 wrangler with a 4 banger and stock tires lol but I think it's all about tires and conditions

I don't have my Jeep yet (2014 JKR on order), but I have a funny story. When I was looking, I originally was thinking of a 10A JKR. I stopped by a local dealer because I wanted to see the Anvil color in person. The dealer didn't have any 10A JKR's, only one 10A JKUR, which did happen to be in Anvil. I mentioned to the salesman that I was interested in a 10A JKR. He said that they don't make the 10A in 2 door, only the 4 door. He said that the 10th Anniversary edition is for the 4 door, that it is the 10th anniversary of the 4 door model. What?!? Just when did they start making the 4 door model?

After telling him that the 10th anniversary is for the Rubicon edition, not the 4 door model, and that it is available in the 2 door model, and that I have seen them on other dealer lots, he insisted that I must be mistaken. That is when I pulled out my phone, brought up Jeep's website, and showed him the 10A in a JKR.

The dealership later called me for a survey on my experienced. When they asked about the knowledgeability of the salesman on the product, I was forced to leave... well... a less desirable rating...

A guy I work with just bought an 06 tj about a month ago and said this to me today: "I hate it how when I'm driving along people in wranglers feel the need to wave at me! I mean, whats that about?!"

Was I wrong for wanting to hit him?

No, you were wrong for only wanting to hit him, and not following through and slapping the crap out of him.

Just reach over and take his keys. Tell him there is a Toyota out there somewhere with his name on it.

Me "Look you can see here, how this bolt is crooked, and see how the holes here do not line up correctly forceing the bolts to go in incorrectly during assembly"

Service Manager "That's not a manufacture's defect"

Me "How is it not a manufacture's defect"

Service Manager "I don't know"

Wife wanted lobster decals on our otherwise debadged "Rock Lobster" JKUR.

Brought our then month-old Jeep in for a faulty door lock and the dealership service manager asked if it was a special limited edition.
