My wife before we bought her new JEEP.
Wanted to know if they have 'power tops' yet.

Whoa. I wonder if it's equally a PITA to install as the non-motorized kind?

I had a customer refuse a test drive after she realized there isn't a third row seat in the unlimited.

Whats wrong with that? With a power top you can raise the top while driving, even though they say not to. Just slow down to about 5 mph. That means no getting soaked when it starts raining.

Last week at Sud's car wash, a fella sloshed up to me and said, "Nice Cherokee, I like the four-doors better than the two-doors." I just said,.....Thank you!

Had someone tell me nice hummer today in a parking lot today.

I said, its nicer than any hummer, its a Jeep.

I dont understand how people cant tell teh difference, I dont even have the painted fenders or hard top.

More of a funny situation than what was said... just felt like driving this past weekend and stopped off in Chicago for a while. As I was in stop-and-go downtown Chicago traffic, a couple to my right in a convertable Rolls-Royce gets my attention and starts asking me questions about my Jeep! I guess noone is immune to Jeep-envy

Agreed.
I'm thinking I could hire a college student while out on summer break to help my wife raise and lower her soft top for less than $5K. Of course she would need to be tall, lean, and in excellent shape to assist in such a matter.

You would allow another man to assist your wife in raising and lowering her top? Wow. That is progressive.

I know it's the JK forum but I had a guy at work tell me he thought my TJ was "too nice" to take off road. LOL, while my Jeep is no beater it has plenty of tattoos.

BBQ on Sunday, friend of my wife yells to her husband, "Come see their Jeep it looks just like one from the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland."

I pulled into a BBQ joint and parked next to a brand new Sahara with color matched top and fenders and chrome everywhere. This lady is coming out to it as I am getting out of mine. She says: "I like your white Jeep." Then looks at my KC lights on my Cowl and says: "Those are cute, did they come with it?" I tell her no I have done some modifications. Then she steps back and looks at my Jeep with bikini top on and no doors and goes: "What kinda Jeep is this?" It was all I could do not to bust out laughing!

Alright.. I got one, my first one.

I do traffic control at a shipping yard. A guy that drives truck here, who's seen my jeep in various states of undress from hard top with/without freedom panels and every stage of soft top. He pulls up today and says " what happen to your jeep". So paranoid like I am I look over, see nothing wrong. So I ask "uh what do you mean". He's like " the roof is gone, is it being repaired?" So I say " are you serious? ". He's like " I don't get where your roof is". All I could think to reply with was " its a jeep thing, top comes off. Enjoy your drive" *shuts window*.

This man is easily 50, and he's never seen a topless jeep?

a TJ guy told me he hated how the JK drain plug holes are. Cause theres more of them on a JK. Said they're ugly. This was right after he told me he flooded his jeep once. I said, well, that's so you can flood it even faster!!!
