Funniest thing anyone has asked me about mine is " do you want to sell it?"

I have heard this one SEVERAL times..

"I used to have a jeep, but my [wife / girlfriend] made me get rid of it"

This is also exactly what happened to by brother in law - drives a commander now but misses his TJ.

My sister took a ride in my JKU and said to him "This wrangler fixes every single complaint I had with yours" (4 doors, the trunk, the ride, the noise) - there might be another wrangler in their future

Right about 50k... Would pay off the old one and a new RHD... I'd start over on the mod process if it meant no payments

Giving my sister a ride for the first time. She says "oh this reminds me of a Hummer with the flat windshield." Needless to say she didn't get to ride much further. To me, that was like riding in someone's Ferrari and saying, "oh this leather reminds me of a Toyota Camry." It's a jeep thing!!!

Many of you get this, "thats too nice to offroad" while on the trail, lol.

While at a gas station feeding my rig with my friends rig feeding across the way a hummer pulls up between us, "man those are nice Jeeps. I feel awkward pulling up between you two, but I had to tell u I liked em" I feel a conversion goin on, lol. We can make a difference, one hummer at a time.

My really good friend has an H3 and we go off road together all the time.

We have respect for our rigs and have a great time. Bring the kids along and make it a good time.

I don't discriminate. But I do bust his chops once in a while.

I was at a gas station covered in mud after wheeling and a gril walked up and asked is a 4x4. I just looked at her with a straight face and said I wish then I could go off roading

I always hose my Jeep down after trips to get rid of all the heavy dirt and grime. Some jackhole at my college asked me: "Do you actually take that thing offroad? It looks like you just put stuff on it to look cool. It is never covered in mud."

Not to burst your bubble but my jeep came with a 3.5" lift and 35's all covered by warranty. Also swing away tire carrier, front and rear AEV bumper, warn winch... All covered by warranty. (winch is warn warranty I think, limited)

yeah but it's different to buy it from the dealership than to ask a dealership to install parts. buying from them for your jeep makes sense, but I'd never ever ever go to them for an install. You never save money, EVER!

A couple neighbors kept asking me to sell them my motorcycle and jetski. They dont like the price. Oh, that bikes a dime a dozen blablabla. Im like, i would rather explode it or throw it off a cliff than sell it for what you just offered me. Im like, youre the one who asked me to sell it. I didnt put a for sale sign on it....

I get the "What do you do when it rains?" question all the time. My reply: get wet. Sometimes they'll ask if that''ll damage the Jeep. I say...I don't know, there are drains in the floor.

Had a Geo Tracker pull up next to me one time at a light. The guy looked over, nodded, then says: we're of the same fraternity, bud. I didn't know if he was serious or not. I said...yeah, I'll let you pull me out of a ditch if I get stuck out in the woods somewhere.

Neighbor bought a Nissan Pathfinder and a week later asks for a ride. I took him and he asks: whenever you go offroading will you let me know...I'd like to go with.

Also get this a lot: I'd buy a Jeep but they are too expensive to fix.

I was more or less commenting on the "cheaper that way" comment. I have NEVER seen after market parts and install cost less at a dealership. I won't get into the warranty coverage conversation here. It's been had many times on this forum.

Driving in light rain is fun. Geo trackers are sweet and it pisses me off that they stopped making them. Only cool late model fake jeep.

Atleast jeeps are easy to fix.

At 90 bucks an hour vs 40 an hour its going to cost over twice the price every time. Besides that, dealers are the last place id go for anything.

I've been asked many times from friends if they could borrow my Jeep for the weekend. I barely let my wife drive it, no way I would let someone else take it.
