Guy in the parking lot at Napa auto parts store; "Is that Jeep was made out of metal?"

Me, "Uh, yeah."

Him, "what kind?"

Me, "Steel..."

Him,"How'd they get it so shiney?"

"Just good paint I guess" Left him there pondering at his reflection in the door.

That gif was nowhere near as funny prior to your reply... Havent seen that movie in ages, so didn't remember the "can I help you" ding until you mentioned it

I haven't seen it in quite a while myself.
I probably need to remedy that.

My girlfriend took the Jeep to Jimmy John's to pick up some sandwiches and the girl at the drive through window asked if it was scary to drive without the doors like that. My GF said, "No, you get used to it."
The girl said, " I want to get a Jeep- I think they're cute. I want to get the kind without the doors, like yours!"

I wish I had been there.

In a parking lot some guy commented on the color of my Jeep that it was a great color for his girlfriend. I didn't even acknowledge he was there.

Sounds like a good offer. Ask for a pic then decide.

Guys that make comments like that have tiny you know what, so they try to mask their insecurities by making stupid comments.

I have been asked a similar question about my Ducati - "It gets good gas mileage, huh? Oh I see..." Yeah, that's exactly why I bought it!

At Rausch Creek, PA last week - "It's gonna get dirty". Um no shiz bro. Girl at CVS said, "That's a pretty color". " Your kinda pretty too - wanna ride?" Not finishing the story for marital reasons.

Depositing money at my CU the other day. My Jeep loan with them pulls up every time I do anything with them.

Bank Teller - "Whoa nice car man, what color is it?"

Me - "Thanks. Black."

Bank Teller - "Did you get leather seats???"

Me - "No, I didn't want leather seats."

Bank teller - "But you can't take it off road now without leather seats."

Me - "...What do you mean."

Bank Teller - "Your seats will soak up & get dirty!"

Me - "I have after-market seat covers that are water-proof & UV ray proof (Trek Armor)."

Bank Teller - "Should have gotten leather man."

He didn't know what Trek Armor was so he gets a pass.

---

Co-worker saw me getting out of my Jeep after lunch (it's a toy & never drove it to work until this day).

Co-worker - "Man I don't know how I feel about Jeeps."

Me - (I never asked him for an opinion) "What do you mean?"

Co-worker - "I just don't know how I feel about them."

Me - "I needed something to have off-road fun with & not a lot of options on the market."

Co-worker - "Did you at least get the Rubicon???"

Me - "No I didn't need the Rubicon."

Co-worker - "How will you off-road then???"

Face palm. Over half the modified Sports on this forum would run circles around Rubicons any day of the week.

---

On a positive note several of my friends who are into cars (Chargers, etc.) said my Jeep looks like a, "Zombie Killa." Lol.

Yes, 3.5" lift and 35's are better then 32's and lockers (in most cases)

But the originally post was 50% of moded sports on this forum..... you really think over half the sports on this forum are running around with a 3.5 inch lift and 35's?

No $hit

If you want to get completely accurate, there are a multitude of factors that go into play in this arena and IMHO driver skills are near, even possibly at the very top of that list. Running the mouth is at the F$&@!?G BOTTOM

Ha. I get it all the time too. I change the setting to 45 seconds when the doors are off. 5 minutes (usually when my doors are on) is a long time.
