My father in law told me my Jeep was ruining my marriage. She's the one that actually owned a Jeep when we met. And found our current Jeep.

Agreed. I found out that I have been the topic of conversation around the work. More than one attractive young lady has asked, "are you that guy with the new Jeep?" 'yes'…"let's go for a ride!" I work with over 1000 people and strangers (and friends alike) are calling me out for a lift.

In the recent snow storm, several (men and women) asked me to pick them up for work.

He's practical. Three children, gas milage concerns, etc. Funny thing is, she got stuck pulling into the parking lot yesterday. I had to go pull her out.

Some interesting stories in here, don't wanna call some of you out but some of the event reeks of BS...i mean how can someone just outright tell you you got a stupid vehicle...don't know where u live, but around here you get ur skull cracked if you insult someone's possession that they worked so hard for...

I get nothing but compliments from people, even Prius drivers saying my Jeep look like a fun "car" for the winter

"Silly" things people have said about your Jeep.

I got asked today by a coworker if it's 4 wheel drive... I know they're out there, but I've never seen a 2wd

ive had a girl tell me it looked like a "daisy duke jeep".

ive had a co worker (one doorless summer day) tell me he wants one like mine but "the kind with doors"... i had driven with my doors ON for all winter (no joke) but hes a nice guy and I took him for a ride in it

have had a few random people in parking lots and gas stations ask me if I wanted to sell it (thanks but nope

had some kids pass me and yell "hey dude you got no doors!" stupid twerps

and this isnt jeep related but ive had somebody say quote "you really are a stereotypical hippy" and I guess Id seem like it but I love jeeps and guns and hate priuses... I do love nature and thats one reason I love my jeep (it takes me there)

I could believe most of the stories on here, even the one with the guy calling the jeep stupid... I was pulling into my pasture one day and had someone in one of those tiny little white japanese trucks yell at me to get a haircut... he wouldnt have if he'd seen the pile of guns in the back of my jeep... but people are just jealous and mean and they dont realize that calling someone out in public makes them look bad

but the best is when you find yourself standing in a parking lot for 30 mins chatting with another old jeeper

I had a guy in a red JK cut me off the other day (no cars behind me! he could have waited)... I wanted to pound on him... but thats not relevant to this thread

Walking out of Walgreens (in a plaza), I place my merchandise in the back and am getting in. Before I respond, the guy gets into his hippie mobile and slams the door. He pulls out of the space, and I follow. We are waiting to exit the plaza, and Im right behind him. When he exits, he cuts it too tight, and falls off a 10" curb. Slams his front end, cracked his control arm and his passenger front tire was doing a back to the future....one of these....

He gets out, all pissy....I pull out of the lot, roll down my window and say " and THAT is why someone needs one of these monstrosities." Made my day.

It was like a George Costanza moment when he thought about the jerk store line.
Awesome
