Today after finishing lunch and getting ready to leave the restaurant, my wife tells my boys "lets go get in the car." My six year old looked at her with a smirk and said "mom it's not a car... It's a jeep... Duh". The people sitting at the table next us busted out laughing.

At the gas station just now.

I pulled up to a pump right behind a Liberty. We both went in at the same time to pay and he paid first.

Him: I need $20 dollars on the pump where my jeep is.

Cashier: Oh, that nice blue one? (mine)

Him: No. That real jeep in front of that blue thing. The Liberty.

He pays and walks out and as I pay the very cute cashier, she tells me she likes my nice blue jeep

Come on.... You just made that up! Is there really someone out there that believes that a liberty is a real Jeep over a wrangler? Wow! ;-)

Last summer I had to winch a ford out of the river. I got not muffler so it sounded pretty good when I pull the guy all the way to the bonefire we were having and one of those ford guy ask me: what the hell did you do to your jeep it have lots of pulling power. My answer was: no muffler and its a jeep jk so that's why. He had nothing to say after that.

Ha, that's great. Speaking of snow, PA is getting dumped on right now and I stopped to pull a few people out on my way to work. The last one was a little old lady in a honda. While I was positioning myself to hook up the winch, a ford f250 pulled up behind me and said "You need any help? I don't think your car can pull her out." He had a slight smirk when he said it so I just looked over my shoulder while putting my gloves on and said "Jeep", he goes "What?", I walked to the front of my Jeep and pulled the winch cable out and said "It's a Jeep. I think I can handle it." He crossed his arms and just watched me climb under the lady's car, hook the winch up and walk back and push a button and the woman's car came flying out of the ditch with no effort. I got out and handed him my business card and said "If you get stuck, give me a call." He just walked away, haha

just died laughing. But you should've made the lady hook up her own car or she could come after you for damages

That's great. A few weeks later we went over miles of icy/snow covered highway and then up a forest road for 7 miles in 14 inch snow to get to her son's cabin. I haven't heard any snow comments since.

Not really something somebody said, but a fun Jeep story from today...

So I drove my Jeep today instead of my work vehicle as we had a slush/ice mix coating our roads. I was descending a fairly steep hill and had the Jeep in 1st or 2nd gear kind of toggling back and forth as I didn't want to get going too fast down an icy hill or have to use my brakes. This guy in one of those crossover things that all look the same is literally 6 inches off my rear bumper the entire way down the hill. I can't see his headlights he is so close. I can see his cake hole flapping back there in my side view mirror as he's screaming at me.

Well at the bottom of this hill is a left hand turn that goes up a steep grade. I make the left turn and my rear wheels begin to spin. I slide the 'ol Jeep into 4wd and trot right up this slick street with ease. I take a gander in my rear view mirror and Mr. Screamer begins spinning, sliding diagonally backward and comes to rest against a curb at the bottom of the hill.

I smile a mile wide as I putt along on my merry way, slow and steady...I wonder if he ever made it up the hill...

It is so funny you say that. There was a side street that I could have looped back and for a split second I thought, "I should go past him again and wave..."

Doughnuts would have been better.

Was at a gas station coming back from college (I'm a commuter for now) and this Prius pulls up. Lady gets out and scoffs at me, seeing my windshield sticker. Starts going off about how irresponsible it is for me to be driving such a guzzler, ESPECIALLY to school every day. I looked at her, and told her "I smile real wide every day second I drive my TJ. If you feel the need to justify driving your vehicle by bringing everyone else down, you need a jeep."
She wasn't a fan of that idea but the guy driving the dodge at the pump behind me clapped and laughed his ass off.

A friend and I have concluded that the Prius isn't really that bad of a car alone but bad in the fact that it will make you a bad smug driver if you start driving one. Seriously, everyone I've met in public that drives a Prius is just a smug ***! I can't believe I wanted a car like that in high school, then I discovered Jeeps.
