Visit cold, rainy, LIBERAL Seattle. People offer opinions all the time that insult anything pro-American, pro-off-road, pro-meat, etc. As long as you are anti everything non-liberal you are set.

It's not me in the video. I was just showing someone that people do in fact have the audacity to do this.

I was filling up my F-150 at a gas station in northern Cal. one day and I got the "how can you drive such a gas guzzling vehicle" speech from someone buying their monthly quart of gas for their prius. I told them I bought the truck because it is cheap insurance. "Cheap insurance?" they asked, I replied "Yes, now when you pull out in front of me when I'm doin 50, you die, not me". She probably ran off to start a petition to ban these "Lethal" vehicles...

Last week my wife and her two kids drove down to Vegas and while there went to check out the Hoover Dam and new bridge. We walked out on the dam itself and there were 4 supercars coming towards us. One was a lime green convertible Lamborghini and we were in a crowd, a bunch of them bikers. Some college kid pipes up "Hey, check out that Lambo". I yelled back, "yeah its a Lambo but in my jeep I could park on top of that sucker and everyone just about fell on their ass laughing with hoots from the bikers.

The security guard at my bank told me that every time he sees me drive up in the Jeep it reminds him of a line from a Batman movie:

"Where does he get those wonderful toys?"

When I first got the Jeep, my mailman says "That's what a real man drives!"

hahaha

She's so worried about the earth, but how much extra waste did she create getting to that weight. That's a lot of extra cheese burger wrappers in our landfills.

Her Prius would get better mileage if she wasn't so tubby....

Something like that would have been my comeback, given such a confrontation. I haven't heard anything like that happening where I live, thankfully.

I just started reading this thread a few days back, and oddly enough, I had the first Jeep-related question in a while while tanking up this morning. A woman filling up her little econo-box on the other side of the pump island asked "Does it get good gas mileage?" Certainly not the first time anyone's been asked this question, nor is it particularly stupid -- I just thought it was interesting because it basically coincided with reading this thread.
