In some states it is illegal to have profane words displayed in public. You may want to check you local laws.

For example, Alabama - “It shall be unlawful for any person to display in public any bumper sticker, sign or writing which depicts obscene language descriptive of sexual or excretory activities.”

But your sticker is probably ok as much as I disagree. You realize that kids can see that, right?

I'm originally from Pensacola and totally forgot about those guys. First time I took my wife down to Pensacola (she's a NY'er), to visit my folks, we came up to a red light and there was one on the side at our intersection, and another across the street on the other. Being from that area, I'm used to them and don't even know they're there anymore. My wife acted as if aliens had landed and was staring in amazement. Here's how the conversation went...

"What are they doing? Are they yelling at us? Wait, are they holding a bible?!" Look up, see them, look back at the radio and say, no, they're preaching to the cars.

"It's hot outside and everyone has their windows rolled up with the AC going. Don't they know no one can hear them." Seriously? Are you trying to rationalize bible thumpers, standing at a busy intersection, and apply logic to what they're doing? "Good point. But seriously, are they for real?"

REALLY? Alabama enacted that law? A few years before I moved from Florida, they had that, but I'm surprised that Alabama did the same.

Georgia has the same law since the mid 90's.

I really don't have a problem with it. If you don't mind having your small children running around reading and spewing profanity that's your choice, but I tried to bring mine up to a higher and more respectful standard than that.

If you don't have children then that explains not understanding. Morals and principles are on a downslide in the last two to three decades in our country and it shows.

I didn't say that I disagree with the law - I have kids too - I was just surprised that Alabama did. I grew up near the Florida/Alabama border and was in AL quite often. Half of the vehicles that I saw had either no tags, no working tail lights, or horrible emissions (billows of smoke pouring out). Oh, and lots had no insurance. So of all of the things they could go after, they went after the bumper sticker profanity.

Actually back in the days of diesel submarines, a snorkle was a common way to run just under the surface to charge batteries.

The exhaust comment is pretty funny.

I got told the other day that since I was "able" to get into my Jeep then I should be "able to park further away. I laughed and told the guy that since I was "able" to fight for our country he has the right to be a dumbass.

People are idiots who speak their mind without knowing the facts. I'm 70% service connected and on disability now. Thanks for your service and putting them in their place.

A coworker saw my new JKUR the other day , and she said that it was "cute as a button". I know that's a compliment, but I was going for a different look.

Believe it. The snorkles are next to the periscope.

A friend at work told another coworker that I was thinking of getting a rubicon. Se said, "don't let him: those things are a POS!" I have no idea where she got that opinion.

When I got my 2012 JKUS I took my brother-in-law for a spin and asked him what he thought... He said it was nice, but he liked the Rubicon better... I asked him why to which he replied that they looked better and that "Wranglers" were just too common whereas "Rubicons" were cool... I then had a 15 minute explanation with him that a Rubi WAS a Wrangler... I still think he thinks I'm full of it...

Yesterday at the store this old lady went out of her way to come up where I was she walk by then almost around my 13 Sport then says "do you ever misplace it in the parking lot" I told her no ma'am. Its the Gecko Green I guess she thought it was a bit bright. As she was walking away she got her sunglasses out.... it was raining. I had to laugh. She must have been in her 80s

A few jeep ago I had a bullet hole sticker hiding a ding or two and not once, but TWICE I was stopped at a light and someone started telling me from another car that my Jeep had been shot. They were serious.

I had a guy ask me if they flip over all the time. I said "yeah, it's the damnedest thing....I come outside every morning and have to flip it right back over."
