Smittybilt Armor Fenders vs. Lift

Hey everybody!
I have been researching lifts like crazy. Finally decided on a RE 3.5" Short control arms, Bilst. Shocks, AEV Black Pintler, Nitto 35", etc. I have a concern for daily drivability and had a knee jerk thought of no lift, running the 35" tires and going with the Smittybilt Armor fenders front & rear. Anybody done this? have pics? thoughts?
I love the look, I'm in VA so the laws are relaxed (4" past fender w/o running lights). Also looking to keep my ride as close to factory as possible. Seems any lift will be a change w/o a doubt. Not to mention, my wife & daughter already complain about the stock height.
So, in a nut shell:
2012 Rubi Sahara Tan Unlimited
35x12.50x17 w/ AEV 17x8.5 Pintlers
No lift
Smittybilt Armor Fenders frt & rr

Also doing Poison Spyder Frt & rr bumpers & a winch.

Once complete, I will post pics & a write up.

I guess I should ask directly, does anybody else have pics of this set up? With the fenders, would a lift be necessary for the 35's???

Only an educated guess, Prob not fit a TJ. I know the sheet metal is slightly different. there is very little mods needed to fit the JK.

Today I called Quadratec & Smittybilt. The responses I received included words like "should" and "probably". Basically, they don't really know if a lift is absolutely necessary to fit 35" tires if using their Armor fenders. One response was literally "I think it would probably rub without a lift". When I asked if he knew for sure, his resoponse was simply "no, I don't".

I don't know about the smitty fenders but I'm running 33x11's that barely cleared my flat fenders when flexed without a lift. My bw fenders follow the tub lines on my jk so I can't imagine 35's fitting while off road without at least a spacer leveling kit. (1" rear and 2" front)

If you put on 35's it will rubb I have a 2010 jk sport and have 35X12.5R18 I had to buy 1.5 wheel spacers to keep it from hitting also a RC 4" lift
