this was my comment.. (i posted it on jeep review too and they accepted it.. JC didnt)

see for your self but my review is not in there
http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/P...966582/c-10108

I purchased this kit because of how complete it is. Well this kit is very very bad quality. Its worthless. I've had it for about half a year now and problems are starting to show one after the other and i cannot return it as my 90 days warranty has expired..

My springs sagged at different rates so now my jeep is unleveled (front is about 1" lower than the rear and also the rear passenger side is 1/2" lower than the drivers rear side), they are so hard so they make it very hard to flex and also cause very bouncy ride.

Shocks that come with the kit are also very hard. The shocks are starting to show rust after just a couple of months and i havent even taken it offroad so they do not have any scratches. The rear shocks also pop and make thumps and other noises...

Control arms are very solid however the bushings are very bad. Those things are made out of plastic like material so they cannot flex worth a damh at all. You cannot flex one tire at a time because again they cannot bend left or right or on any angle (just straight since it spins on the bolt). Those are causing permanent and premature wear on the control arm mounts. After about half a year of this kit on my jeep i'm already starting to notice them wobble around.

The sway bar links seem to be holding up well. Tcase drop kit seems to be holding up well too. Over all for the kit.. its junk. Its the most complete kit on the web for the price but its made of the LOWEST quality stuff ever and sure enough you will replace it in few months afterwards.

The only benefit from this kit that i have so far is the experience i gained while installing it, however if you like to learn then buy a 1" budget boost pucks for 50-60 bucks and install that.

Trying to rip us off?????

Ok if you ordered these seats you really need to call customer service because they tried that crap of only one seat was for that price and i argued until she asked me to please hold and in a few minutes she came back and apologized and stated that they were sold in pairs and they would overnight the second one. So again if you ordered these check your e-mail or call and confirm. Oh yea the black/yellow is going to look good in my bumble bee.

I did (FEDEX). they were actually supposed to be here Sat., so they rescheduled for today (Mon), well, I checked the tracking # again, it says they can't find my address or street. FEDEX needs to at least hire HS graduates!! If you want something shipped right, use UPS! Anyway, they are going to try to redeliver tomorrow (Tue)

go to fedex and pick them up... those people are retarded man. When i was getting my muffler shipped.. they didnt even bother ringing the bell.. they didnt even take out my box from the truck. I was watching him the entire time.

The guy went downstairs (apartment) and left... i go downstairs to check whats up and there is a note on the door saying i was unable to open the door when the bell was rung. Again he did not ring the bell nor he was carrying my flowmaster box.

They didnt ring the bell and since he wasnt carrying anything i thought it wasnt shipping that day.

POSs dont feel like carrying stuff thats heavy man.

I got mine today, and I have to say that I am actually very happy with the way they look and feel so far.
I will try to get them installed this weekend for the up coming trip.
These seats are better than the stock ones that I have for sure, and they look like they will really hold you in place.

Once I get them installed, I will post up some pictures.

Sorry Skeeter!!! I assume you work for Fedex? If so, any chance you might be able to get some hooked-on-phonics tapes for the delivery drivers? HA HA HA!!!

Well I finally got my seats today!! YEA!! But, now I have to make some sort of bracket to make them mount up. The factory brackets make the seats sit way to high for me!! If any one else has installed these, let me see those brackets!!!!

But they do fit perfectly right? just a bit too high?
Also how do they fold when you want to get in the back seat?

It might help me remove my seat risers

I have no back seat any longer, so the fold up part does not really matter to me. When connected to the factory brackets, they worked just like the factory seats.

right but how do they fold, what engages them to fold? My factory seats have a pull strap on the seat it self which i'd imagine has a cable that goes for the factory mounts.. whats up with the new seats? how will they engage it?

No fold...really...it has round handles on each side by your butt that you can use to recline or move (fold) the seat forward.

This is a rough draft of my seat brackets. Once I get these complete, I will build some out of angle iron and weld everything up. If I see that these are strong enough, I will just weld these up!

If i am you i'd leave the stock passenger bracket in there since you wouldn't care if thats too tall or whatever and the wife will like it.. as for your design goes.. the only weakness i see is you will need a diagonal on the big rectangular part otherwise it will bend forward and backward and the one diagonal you have now should take car of the side to side flex.

Cherokee, i would only use that material for mock-up. It will fail under normal use and if you ever got into wreck it will not support the forces that will be applied.

That is basically what I am doing. Once I had it complete I was going to make it out of angle iron or flat steel stock and weld it all together. I still need to put one diagonal in front, and diagonal bars on the sides as well. I have the flat steel already, I will take it in to a customer of mine with a full metal shop and bend one piece for each side. i will then weld the diagonal supports in.

Hey TRIPLE do you see the knobs where the sections fold you have to crank the knobs and the seat slowly rises or lowers with each turn.

Kickn, i see that however isnt that to adjust the backrest only? i was talking about it folding forward all the way to the dash so people in the rear seat can get in and out.
