I do work for FedEx ya damn jack booted thug

I haven't done local P&D for more than 15 years though. I drive a real truck.

When I did do pickup and delivery it was standard practice to put residential deliveries off till the last because 95% weren't home if you arrived before 6pm, with 30 to 60 stops a day we didn't have time to screw around beating on doors. It was much more efficient to simply leave a note and have the person schedule a specific time to make delivery.
We weren't allowed to leave freight without a signature back then.

The two knobs are all thats on my seats so in order to fold seats forward to the dash will probably have to fab something up will see when I get a chance to put them in. But they are nice seats though.

Does anybody have these seats in yet???
If so, post up how they work out, I'm around 6'2 and 230 pounds, I guess my question is will they accomodate us bigger guys??? And are they more comfortable than stock???

See the problem with that is you cannot schedule a pickup until you get at least 1 notice. Thats suks a lot especially when you like me and like to take your part and install it the same day you get it.

You honestly haven't heard the term "jack booted thug"?

It's a derogatory term for cops, it refers to cops on ego/power trips or those serving overly aggressive departments.
It comes from old the old thigh high leather boots warn by some military and IIRC comes from WWII Germany and Hitlers use of the Gestapo.

BTW, it was a joke, I don't think foxinthemudd is really a jack booted thug.

Sucks to be you I guess...

Seriously.
When you order something you can specify shipping instructions such as delivery times.
When you know you have a shipment coming in, you can call the delivery terminal and request it be delivered at a specific time.

BTW i have never heard of a "jack booted thug"

anyways!

i just ordered a pair of these. i was online with their "online chat help" AND a real person over the phone.... i asked repeatedly if this sale of "buy one get one free" was still available for $159.99" he stated that it is available until the end of the month. i then asked about the "free shipping" and he said that i would receive "free shipping" i also asked about what colors are available with that deal, and that i only wanted yellow. he said that yellow is available.
i went ahead and paid for them, and the grand total was $182.99
i asked for a breakdown in the price and it went as followed:
$10 per chair for a "heavy item" charge....... so $20 total
$3 for insurance

so even though their "free shipping" wasnt "free" i was told that i still saved about $50 in shipping charges.

ive seen many similar seats on ebay with shipping charges exceed the cost of the seat it self! crazy! im not gonna complain for $20 shipping

i got 5-10 business days to wait for the seats now is the only problem! haha

well i got them with 2 written transcripts about my debate of the said offer.

in the transcript i ask about what happens with a mis-shipment? as if i get the wrong color? or wrong item? or wrong amount of seats? if i would be charged for shipping to send them back. they assured me NO.

so yes im stuck with a bill... but its only what i have agreed to pay.

haha can you tell ive worked in shipping/receiving for a little while?

i deal with this stuff everyday.... if these seats come in with the wrong item, or wrong color, amount, whatever... i just have to refuse shipment. they get sent back to the company on their dime, not ours. then i just get to yell and scream at their customer service as to why we didnt receive out shipment. usually we get a deal on it.

i dont know what that means exactly? but in all actuality your ups/fed ex driver is required to stay until you sign for it. that means you check your shipment! if you sign for it before checking it, then thats your bad. but if you do YOUR part by actually checking your part of the shipment, then you can refuse the shipment, or make a note of it with your driver.

believe me, its much easier to get a claim when you only sign for the amount of boxes that ACTUALLY showed up, rather just believing what the "SAID" showed up, and signing for the said "amount shipped"

oh! and because i know it will come up eventually.... dont say "i got a note saying i need to go to UPS to pick up the package"

if you dont like that, there is in fact an option for "signature required" where they must make a certain amount of attempts before leaving you that note. i think its 3 attempts. i believe you can put certain times of the day into that attempt. i dont know about fedex, but with ups you can.

HAVE FUN!
