Snow!!! I love snow !!!!

So we are in the midst of a 48 hour blow. I'm coming home from work & almost there when it happens.

I live by this huge huge steep hill - maybe 1/3 mile long & very steep especially at the top.

So I'm chugging up the hill in my 4cyl jeep when I notice a bunch of people in front of me stuck.

I pull off the road drive past them all & proceed to pull them all up the hill using the tow strap I keep just for the occasion.

I never knew the little jeep had it in him.

Just a bone stock TJ with 4cyl & 5 speed. The only mods were to add cruise control & just this weekend some driving lights.

I just love the snow. The poor indian couple I drug up the hill in their toyota sure was thankfull.

midget-farmer is from central IL. We had 6inches when I blowed the drive this morning - been snowing like crazy today - but today it's more blowing than snowing. Blowing sucks - or blows. Depends on if its coming toward you or going away from you!

we just got a nice blizzard here in the mountains of NC, 8" of new snow along with 50mph+ winds. some of the drifts were like 5 ft deep!!!

And i got to pull an Xterra ( ) about a quarter of a mile up a snowblasted hill last night.
i was sooo proud to be a jeep owner.

---Probably a two wheel dr. Xterra

Gererally they're very capable off-roads/snow/rocks-it depends on the driver/4wd/tires/lunch/gender/nationality/demeaner/anger management, you know

you are very right JIMBO.
it was my buddy's ride.

get this:
he got the xterra new when he got his liscense (rich family) and he got the 2wd, wtf i know. but then proceeded to get a nice sound system with 2 12" subs that have to be $600 plus, a gps, bluetooth, and alot of other gizmos and gadgets for it...but he said the 4wd version was not worth the extra money.

On Saturday we're going sledding behind the jeep again! - few things more fun than sledding behind the jeep in 8 inches of snow!
