So i bought a jeep... is it a good one?

2012 Rubicon AEV edition. Stock with the following....:

35's
AEV 3.5(or 4??)
Procal moded maxed out
SVVT
Soft & hard top
5.33 gears (I think)
AEV Front and rear Bumpers
Warn 12 k
Water package (Not sure what that means)
IPF lights

Lotsa other stuff I aint found yet.

Is it a decent offroad jeep?

Is it as good as my sport was? My sport had an x on the fender, this one doesn't.... Does that suck or what?

you really are not being serious are you?
5.38 gears a little aggressive in my opinion
Rubicon would be the Premium offroad model
Water package would be the water tanks in your rear bumper
2 different 3.5 lifts an rs and sc iirc

Come on, are you serous! You bought the best setup for off roading. Your good to go. But I will say, it blows that you don't have the "sport" sticker... Kind of holding you back if you ask me.

I suspect the OP is joking... But maybe I'm wrong. Either way, sounds like a pretty capable rig

Yeah, im just goofin.... But I really miss my sport sticker!

THe water package is the rear bumper I think... I found the tank last night. That is something I've never seen. Not sure if its cool or overkill.

I gotta find out about that gear ratio tho, my old one had 4.10s on 35's, this is much lower. Do you think its 4.88 or 5.33?

That's the one thing I may be wrong about. I have asked for a spec sheet from AEV to see for sure. Salesman didn't know much about jeeps. I suspect it will actually be 4:88 or 4.10

I doubt it was regeared but it is more unlikely that someone did a 5.33. That would not be pleasant to drive on the highway. Nice rig though.

That looks like a turnkey AEV JK350. If it is it has their 3.5 inch lift and 4.10 gears unless someone changed them afterwards. It looks awesome btw. I looked into getting one but they don't have dealers in Canada so I got a 10A and I'm going to put some AEV parts on it.

Did you get that used? That was a great find. They are rare.

Yes, I got in touch with Jeff at AEV, he confirmed it was 4:10 as we suspected. Salesman was misinformed

Thanks, used was really the only way I would have been able to afford it. The nearly 60k new price is insane.

I know they're expensive. They may be awesome and I'm a big fan of aev but I couldn't do 60 grand either. I ended up with a 10a rubicon which is similar to yours and adding Pintlers and aev lift in the deal. That still put me at 45 grand. It's not cheap for a nice jeep for sure.
